Hello! My name is Ashleigh Aukerman and I will be a sophomore this year at LHU. I’m majoring in the Health Science: Pre-Physicians Assistant program and currently work as a Nursing Assistant at a nearby hospital. I joined ZETA because I want to make an impact on the world both educating and helping those with breast cancer, as well as creating an amazing bond with my sisters. In my free time, I love to watch movies and spend time with friends and family!

Inclusion Chair/ Belonging Chair

Hello! My name is Summer Strauss and I am the first ever Inclusion and Belonging Chair in the Zeta Nu Chapter and I am also Sunshine Chair along with some of my other sisters. I am going into my sophomore year and I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Medical Laboratory Sciences. I originally joined Zeta Tau Alpha one because I needed a community that I can always turn to (other than my friends) because I grew up playing field hockey, so I was used to the community that sports gave me. However, in college I no longer play field hockey so joking Zeta gave me a new organization to be a part of with many people that support me and want me to strive to be the best version of myself. I also joined for our philanthropy, and now our philanthropy is more important to me than ever since my mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is still fighting to beat it. After joining Zeta, I have gained many opportunities to grow as a person, get leadership opportunities, and to help our Lock Haven community and the fighters and survivors of breast cancer. Zeta has brought me a community that I was urning for in college, and I’m excited to watch our fraternity grow and flourish. I am grateful for the wonderful women in the fraternity because without them I wouldn’t be striving in college like I am now. It is an honor to be apart of this fraternity and I will always be honored when I am an alumna.

Hi! I'm a Biomedical Sciences major with a concentration in Pre-Medical Studies. In the future, I plan to study further in Italy and specialize in oncology! A few fun facts about me: I have a twin brother, my favorite color changes frequently, and I love to rewatch the Twilight movies constantly.

Director of Philanthropy, Service, & Fundraising

Hi, I am Maddie and I am in charge of director of philanthropy service and fundraising. I am a sophomore majoring in health science with a concentration in Physician assistant study. I love going kayaking and just being outside tanning. Zeta Tau Alpha at Lock Haven gave me a place where I felt I belonged and gained a bunch of sisters. ZTA has given me lots of opportunities to grow, learn, and lead in different ways.
