Hello! My name is Ashleigh Aukerman and I will be a sophomore this year at LHU. I’m majoring in the Health Science: Pre-Physicians Assistant program and currently work as a Nursing Assistant at a nearby hospital. I joined ZTA because I want to make an impact on the world both educating and helping those with breast cancer, as well as creating an amazing bond with my sisters. In my free time, I love to watch movies and spend time with friends and family!

Bailey Hoover
Philanthropy Chairman & Judicial Chairman
Hi! My name is Bailey Hoover, and I am a junior who is dual majoring in Health Sciences with a concentration in 3+2 Physician Associate Studies, as well as Languages and Cultures with a Spanish concentration. Becoming a member of ZTA has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my college life. ZTA has given me opportunities to grow as a person, give back to the community, and to become the best version of myself. Our philanthropy holds a special place in my heart, as breast cancer awareness is very personal to me. I lost my grandmother at age 51 to breast cancer. Being in a sorority that supports a cause so close to my family has made joining ZTA even more impactful on my life. I will forever be grateful that I chose ZTA as my home!

Summer Strauss
Director of Inclusion and Belonging
Hi, my name is Summer Strauss! I am a sophomore and I am majoring in biomedical sciences with a concentration in medical laboratory science. I joined Zeta Tau Alpha for the sisterhood because it was something I was missing when starting at Lock Haven University. Zeta didn’t just give me sisterhood, it gave me unconditional support from my sisters, and a lifelong family. One of my favorite things about Zeta is our philanthropy because it is very personal to me and my family. This year (2025) my Mom was diagnosed with stage 3 Metastatic Breast Cancer. Zeta has chosen me, and I will forever choose Zeta.
